Roots Within The Delta Atelier

Both in the exploration Lage Landen 2020-2100 and in the context of the IABR-2018+2020-THE MISSING LINK and its Brussels’ component You Are Here (YAH) ports and the circular economy were a reoccurring subject.

The Delta Atelier kicked-off in 2017–2018 in the context of the 'cultural space' created by the International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam (IABR) and You Are Here (YAH) in Brussels.

Designing the Future sessions (2017-2018) were organized by Architecture Workroom Brussels (AWB), the Flemish Master Builder Team, the VRP (Flemish Association for Spatial Planning), OVAM (Public Waste Agency of Flanders) and the International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam (IABR). In April 2018, a corresponding publication was brought out. Designing the Future is a ‘workbook’ on research by design as a lever for social transition.
